Acrobatic Gymnastics (also known as "Acro") integrates dance, balance and strength exhibited in gymnastics, and teamwork not shared with any other sport in the USA Gymnastics family. Groups of two, three, or four athletes, both men and women, perform dynamic and balance skills, individual gymnastics skills, tumbling, and dance in their floor routines. Acro challenges the athletes' physical ability, while instilling in them the lifelong values of trust and teamwork.
