SLO Gym Fest October 13 & 14

Join us in beautiful San Luis Obispo for the 17th Annual SLO Gym Fest. It's a great opportunity to be a part of the largest Gymnastics Competition on the Central Coast, in beautiful San Luis Obispo! Admission: (one day entry)
Adults: (16 yrs. & up) $10.00
Youths: (6-15 yrs.) & Seniors $5.00
Children: (5 yrs. & under) FREE
Programs: $2.00
Vendors:
- CCG Girls Team is hosting a fabulous BBQ & Concessions Stand. All proceeds will go directly to these girls to help them with the cost of competitive seasons, uniforms, and entry fee's. Stop by on Saturday or Sunday and support these wonderful families even if you don't go to the meet, grab lunch and drink.
- Snowflake Leotards will host a large selection of their leotards during our event. This is a once in a life time opportunity to buy straight from the leotard vendor. Stop by CCG during our two day gymnastics competition and check out their huge selection in sizes from Child Xsmall to Adult Larges. Don't miss this chance to buy a few!

Session 1 - Saturday 2:00pm Level 3 & 6 gymnasts - Doors open 1pm
*Session 2 - Sunday 8:00am Level 4 gymnasts- Doors open 7:00am (see urgernt updates for this session below)
Session 3 - Sunday 1:00pm Level 5 gymnasts- Please wait for Session 2 to be completed before entering.

- We have updated our equipment with the 2012 Olympic Trials AAI Elite Spring Floor Deck in July 2012, with new carpet bonded foam top from Nov.2011.
- New AAI Elite Uneven Bars from the 2012 Visa Championship Bars with all new landing matting system under the bars, two 8" landing mats from the podium of the Olympic Trials competition floor and a newly signed Olympian Chalk Bowl! Added excitement for the gymnast!
- AAI Elite Balance Beam
- AAI Vault Table with Stratum Vaulting boards (Tac 10 & carpet tops)

Updated Notes to Gyms: (as of 10/9/2012)
- *Urgent update for Session 2:The City to the Sea 1/2 Marathon race is also being held in San Luis Obispo on Sunday, 10/14. This race runs down the S. Higuera Street and crosses our intersection of Zaca Lane and Higuera Streets. The SLO Pd is going to allow cars through that need to get to our location on Sunday morning for the Level 4 session. PLEASE plan to arrive be 7:30am at the latest to CCG, as the race begins in downtown SLO at 7:30am and getting past the runners between 7:45-8:15am will cause you to be delayed and getting to the gym on time for this session. We sincerely apologize in advnace as we were not notifyed the street was being closed until we actually found out today from friends and family. The SLO PD will allow you through if there are no runners.
- Any refunds requested in advance will be given in the coach's folder at the meet.

Please double check your teams rosters, USAG numbers, and coaches information to make sure it is all correct and current. Any coaches with expired/pending status of USAG PRO numbers will not be allowed on the competition floor during the entire competition.

Make sure you parents know about the Bonfire Event, it is one of the most fun & relaxing times of the weekend, as this tends to be our BEST weather of the year on the Central Coast. Get ready to enjoy a night of Family Fun!

There will be banners for the top 3 winning teams in each level 3-6. Team entries for a banner are $25 per Team entered, if you have not entered your teams yet, contact us immediately.

NOTE: Pink SLO Gym Fest Shorts for all athletes for 2012 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Many of you are unaware that CCG was unable to host the 2011 SLO Gym Fest as I (the owner) was going through treatments for breast cancer during that time. I feel so blessed to have conquered my challenge successfully after two surgeries, 5 months of chemo, and 2 months of radiation in 2011. It was with the incredible support of my truly amazing staff & the families at CCG making dinners for my family during this challenging time that we feel so thankful for. It's the community of support right here in CCG that is unbeatable. I am forever grateful to all those families that made dinners for us weekly for 9 months.
