Dana Desrosiers: Assistant Team Coach
Dana has been coaching the CCG Boys Team since 2001. He currently coaches level 6-10 Pommel Horse, Still Rings, and Parallel Bars. In high school he was a Class 1 (Level 10) gymnast at South Coast Gymnastics where he trained under Olympic Silver medalist and World Champion Xiaoping Li. When he came to Cal Poly to study Computer Engineering, he discovered CCG and started building the boys program into the successful program it is today.
Sage Barca-Hall: Rec. & Dev. Director, Junior Team L3 Coach, & Level 4 Team Coach
Sage has been coaching at CCG since 2012. Sage coaches in the boys recreational program, developmental boys gymnastics, and the CCG level 3 & Level 4 teams. Sage comes from a competitive gymnastics back ground, formerly a Level 10 at Santa Cruz Gymnastics Center. Sage, has been developing the developmental levels of CCG’s Boys Gymnastics Program, he works with the Level 1’s to help them prepare for entering into the introductory competition levels. Sage trains all the lower level Rec Coaches and works with the Developmental athletes and coaches.
Grant Bortz- Developmental Coach & Level 3 Boys Junior TEAM Coach
Grant is a former Level 10 Gymnasts, who has been attending Cal Poly and is coaching at CCG while in college. Grant’s background brings coaching from his former gym in Colorado, all his years training a high level gymnast, and his passion to teach all boys the benefits and tremendous power, confidence, and agility you can only get from gymnastics and what it give you as in life!.
