2018 Acro Trio Level 5 acro showcase

Recreational Acro

Athletes can attend once per week.  Recreational Acro is great for Girls & Boys, Ages 5 & up.  All abilities welcome.  This is a great class to add to a gymnastics or tumbling class as a second class!  You can attend a Rec Acro class two times per week, ask about the 30% discount off the second class.

Preteam acro handstand

Monday  3:45-4:45

Wednesday  3:45-4:45

Saturday  9:00-10:00 am

Athletes perform beginning tumbling and acrobatic skills while learning Acro terminology in a fun group environment. Students learn how to work with a partner while being introduced to skills levels 1-4; such as handstand on knees and standing on shoulders. Safe and correct body position is emphasized from the start, along with trust and teamwork.

Pre-Team Acro

Athletes train two days per week, Girls & Boys, by invitation.

T/Th 5-6:30 pmAcro Pre Team Shoulderstand

Athletes perform acrobatic skills levels 4-7 working with the same partner(s) each week, whenever possible. They will try both pair and trio, possibly working as a base/middle and top depending on the range of their abilities. There will be opportunities to participate in local performances throughout the year. Acro “Open Training” takes place after Nationals, with an option to try-out for our competitive team in August. Those athletes with prior performance experience have an advantage going into tryouts.
